Hi, I’m Wendy. I was raised on a farm in Southern Alberta and move to Calgary in Grade 12. Math was my favourite subject (one of those weird kids) so when I decided to so something that involved numbers, no one was shocked.

I received a Business Administration Diploma from Mount Royal College; my major was in accounting.

I began my career at a major building material supplier when things were still being done manually. Later I transferred to the Lower Mainland in British Columbia, however after 5 years I returned home to Alberta, settling in Black Diamond. You can take the girl out of the country but can’t take the country out of the girl.

I decided to try something different, and I went to work as a courier. However, numbers were once again beckoning me so back to accounting I went, but this time I began working in the public sector with a variety of different businesses.
